LAKEVIEW HEIGHTS COMMUNITY HALL

PROJECT DETAILS

LOCATION
West Kelowna, BC

The Lakeview Heights Community Hall was in dire need of repairs to its sagging roof and leaning walls, but also had to remain open for community use.

In order to complete the renovations while minimizing downtime for the hall, our team began our work off-site by pre-building walls and roof sections. Having the walls and roof sections pre-built allowed us to quickly remove and replace the collapsing portions of the building, requiring the hall to be closed for only two days.

We also installed a 60-foot long aluminum ramp to ensure that the hall was accessible to everyone. At the grand re-opening ceremony, West Kelowna mayor Doug Findlater was the first to use the new ramp as he was in a wheelchair after recently breaking his leg snowboarding.
This work was all completed in the height of winter.

Due to our team’s creative problem-solving skills and precise timing, the renovations were completed on time and to standard, allowing the hall to be enjoyed by guests for years to come.
