With the addition of 24 new infant–toddler spaces, the centre now offers 110 licensed child care spaces, helping meet a critical need in our region.
Located at YLW, the centre supports families who live and work near the airport, reduces barriers to employment, and strengthens key industries like aviation and aerospace.
This milestone reflects strong collaboration between the YMCA, City of Kelowna, KF Aerospace YLW, and the Province of B.C., with provincial and federal support through the ChildCareBC New Spaces Fund.
